Saturday 12 AUG PM ~ GOAL: Clean Seas Florida Keys “Permitted” REEF Debris Removal Trip and Proof Photos
At Sail Fish Scuba we always strive to remove any manmade debris we come across while diving in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. These dives are permit approved and partially federally contract funded debris removal trips. Any lobster traps deemed “Ghost Traps” are also FWC Permit approved for us to carefully bring to the surface and if any tags remain on them, quickly returned to the rightful owner. During these dives we are also all approved Coral Bleach Watch dive team trained and focused on photo documenting all bleaching we come across. Post tours we record and submit all data to all the proper Federal, State, and Local agencies.

January–March surface 72 F and Depth as low as 66 F
April–May surface 78 F and Depth 74 – 78 F
June-September Water WARMS UP quickly: Surface can get up to 90 F & Depth up to 87 F *SUMMER is our Peak Season for the Florida Keys.
October-December will be cooling each day: 84 F Surface and at depth 77 – 82 F

Honestly: We never know the viz for any site/day until we pull up to the mooring ball to tie up, sorry.
