Darn winds seem to arrive every Sunday Morning in February and blow out all the boat trips clear through Friday morning here in Key Largo.
Glad we have the Lagoon to do our shore diving and PADI Scuba Instruction.

Water Temperature
Annual Water Temperature RANGES HERE: Jan. – March surface 72 F and Depth as low as 66 F * April – May surface 78 F and Depth 74 – 78 F * June Water WARMS UP quickly: Surface 80 F & Depth 77 – 80 F *SUMMER is our Peak Season for the Florida Keys and the Surface water for July – September is 90 F and at depth 83 – 88F * Oct. – Dec. cooling each day: 84 F Surface and at depth 77 – 82 F
SITE VisibilityViz at a dive site can be 100 feet when we arrive and it can drop to half this in 30 minutes while we are diving the site. The opposite is true if we arrive and it’s soupy viz, but during the dive the current picks up or the tide changes or the wind slows or stops, it can clear up rapidly.
Honestly: We never know the viz for any site/day until we pull up to the mooring ball to tie up, sorry.
