Is It Jellyfish Season Right Now In Key Largo, Florida? While jellyfish are beautiful to see and amazing to photograph, no one wants to get stung by one.
Moon Jellyfish are the most common type in Key Largo, Florida Keys and their season runs usually from the end of August clear through the end of April each year.
If there are not too many Moon Jellyfish in the water while snorkeling or scuba diving it is easy to avoid them as they travel with prevailing winds and currents in the water. When in the water with them just simply move out of their way as they pass by you.
This afternoon on dive/snorkel boat DEEPER, Captain Bill kept all safe topside while PADI Inst. Thomas guided scuba divers all day and Dive Master Rick guided snorkel guests all day.
PADI Inst. Mike covered the dive shop all day and many thanks to him for taking care of this.
