What makes a dive site fun
Well, for starters the fun part about the Benwood site is the historical old shipwreck.
Most divers go diving to get to see lots of fish underwater.
At the Benwood shipwreck you will get to see schools of fish so thick it is impossible to count them all.
Additionally at this site there is lots of coral reef growing.
French Reef
Want to talk about one of the best Key Largo Fun Dive Sites?
French Reef hands down is one of the most fun dive sites Key Largo has to offer.
At French reef you will feel like a kid getting to experience Alice In Wonderland in real life.
This fun Key Largo dive site offers countless caverns and coral swim through areas.
Many of these are so fish filled you have to swoosh the fish out of your way to swim through.
Tourists Visiting From Many Countries
When tourists visit from other countries, they want to see what fun dive sites Key Largo has to offer.
This afternoon we had a fun mixed group of divers & snorkelers who were all visiting from Russia, Germany, and Netherlands!
Divers got to get close with a large green moray eel and lots of fish!
Where We Went
Our afternoon tour today took us to Horseshoe Reef & Banana Reef.

Horseshoe reef is another Key Largo’s fun dive sites.
This reef is similar in structure to French reef in that it offers divers caverns and coral swim through areas.
Horseshoe reef is great when taking a boat carrying scuba divers and snorkelers.
There are coral filled shallows at this site capable to entertain snorkel guests for hours while the divers dive.
Crew Today
Captain Dave/Inst. Holly & Inst. David showed everyone an excellent time.
As we had both divers and snorkel guests we took plenty of crew so no guests were left unattended while in the water.
Sail Fish Scuba is the only dive shop in all the Florida Keys to offer an in water guide for free to guests while they are snorkeling.

We did get to snorkel with a huge bull shark this afternoon & that was super exciting!
Reef Report
Reef Report: East Winds 12 – 14 knots made seas 2 – 3 foot Viz. was 25 – 35 foot.
East winds in the range we had today can be both tricky and challenging for our crew to pick just the right fun sites to visit.
