Christ of the Abyss AM

This Morning at Christ of the Abyss which is located at the Key Largo Dry Rocks Reef we saw many varieties of reef fish and corals.
Inst. Alex taught PADI Open Water dive #3 and Inst. Thomas taught PADI Discover Snorkeling to our 2 first timers. Inst. Jen guided the large group of certified divers and was joined by many times return guest Bill. Inst. Jen was teaching Bill about our Nikon camera systems and he too great photos! Dive Master Rick came along to shadow owner Jen today and see what and how she does things while guiding.

Grecian Rocks Reef at Banana Reef AM

The second site at Banana Reef Inst. Thomas encouraged his first time snorkeling guests to re-enter the water and enjoy the beauty of the Atlantic ocean. Inst. Alex finished the final skills with our newest PADI Open Water Diver student. Qi did really well on her diving today and is ready to return in 2 weeks for more fun diving. Inst. Jen had one of the best dives ever at Banana Reef with her group of 7 divers. We came across tons of colorful anemones and cleaning stations. A huge female Southern Stingray came and settled between 2 coral heads right in front of us. Jen was able to place herself behind the ray and get super cool images of the divers facing the ray. Before swimming away Jen had to gently pet the huge ray and give thanks to it for it being so kind to us. Check out that photo album for all the amazing photos from today.
