Sail Fish Scuba: 26 May 2018

Rainy Windy Scuba Dive Key Largo Training Day. This morning tropical storm conditions in Key Largo caused all dive shops to head over to Jules Undersea Lodge lagoon. Inst. Glenn finished up our newest PADI AOW student and guided the certified divers. Owner/Inst. Chris Kerr enjoyed teaching OW and tune up students.

Reef Report: Why NO Boats Left The Dock Today

East South East 120′ 21 – 25 knots
If we would have headed out on the dive boat: Molasses Reef reported 5 – 8 feet seas! We headed to Jules Lagoon hidden in the lovely mangroves of Key Largo and enjoyed FLAT surface conditions!
Zero Current in the Lagoon
When we first entered it was 15 – 20 feet VIZ, Then Inst. Glenn & Inst. Chris were joined by Every Other Single Dive Shop & their guests in all of Key Largo, and viz dropped to 1 – 2 feet quickly.
Water Temperature
Very comfortable 80F
