What We Did Today Reef Report

We got in a great AM & PM tour again today in Key Largo.

The morning was a double Wreck trip with zero current.
Spiegel Grove & Benwood shipwrecks this morning.
The afternoon reef report came from Horseshoe Reef and Banana Reef.

At the Benwood shipwreck this lovely turtle just posed for photos.
With all the moon jellyfish in the water this time of year, we are super grateful for all the turtles who eat them.

Where We Went

This afternoon we visited Horshoe Reef to check on the #PostIrmaKeysReef work that Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium & Coral Restoration Foundation have been busy working on.
Then we checked out Banana Reef over at the South End of Grecian Rocks Reef.

Reef Report: Seas 2 – 3 foot
viz: 25 – 35 foot
There was some surge today on the reef sites.
Water temperature was 82F.
We did see some jellyfish again today at both the wreck and reef sites.
