South East Winds Cancel Boat Diving
When South East winds cancel boat diving we are super happy to have Jules Undersea Lodge lagoon to go to and do some shore diving here in Key Largo, Florida Keys. Trust me when I say we hate more than the guests when the winds blow super hard out of the South East like this. We can make lots more guests happy and make a lot more money when we can run our boat to the reef, so we are sad too when it’s windy.
But we love that we at least have the 26 foot deep lagoon across the street to go and explore with our diving guests.

This Morning at Jules Undersea Lodge Lagoon Inst. Alex guided our 4 certified divers around the lagoon and pointed out Stripped Flat Worms, Crabs, and lots of fish. He even got to take some of the guests into the air cell in the underwater hotel and get their photos inside there.
We agree it would always be much better to be 5 miles off shore boat diving on flat seas with gin clear waters, however that is not always possible.
Prayers are being said for the wind to go away and tomorrow for calm seas.
