Mother Nature Handed us a long week of high winds & massive flooding rains – so we wait!
When the winds blow 22 – 30 mph for a few days on end, we just can’t go out diving or snorkeling as the waves are too high and the viz too low.
But we headed out the morning of the 19th and see the images in the post for what we got. Surface calmed to 1.5 to 2.0 feet seas and we were thankful for that for sure!

Annual Water Temperature RANGES HERE: Jan. – March surface 72 F and Depth as low as 66 F * April – May surface 78 F and Depth 74 – 78 F * June Surface 80 F & Depth 77 – 80 F *SUMMER is our Peak Season for the Florida Keys and the Surface water for July – September is 90 F and at depth 83 – 88F * Oct. – Dec. 84 F Surface and at depth 77 – 82 F
SITE Visibility Everyone wants to know when there will be good viz.
Honestly: We never know the viz for any site/day until we pull up to the mooring ball to tie up, sorry.
