Sail Fish Scuba: 30 March 2018

Wild Windy Topside Conditions Woody’s Ledge Then Molasses Reef. Captain Dave and Inst. Holly took our morning divers only tour out for our first trip since these SSE winds started Monday afternoon. Seas at French Reef were steady four feet with an occasional OMG huge six footer rolling through. The viz. suffered the past week of gusty 25+ knot SSE winds and provided guide Holly only ten feet at best. Captain Dave radioed around to see if any other dive boats were out this morning and what the conditions were where they were located. We found out Winch Hole at Molasses Reef had 3’ seas and 20’ – 30’ viz. We headed there for the second dive.
