November Brings East Winds and Bumpy Seas Which Means Winter Is Here

East Winds and Bumpy Seas Means Winter Is Here now and we just must make the best of each day until May.
Winter in the Florida Keys really isn’t as bad as we probably make it out to be. It’s just not flat seas and super warm water this time of the year.
This morning here in Key Largo, Florida Keys we had a guest request to go to Molasses Reef and so that is where we headed. We were greeted upon arrival at Molasses Reef with a mild current and visibility around 35 to 45 feet. The gusty North East winds handed us around 1.5 feet seas at the first site and by the second site surface built to 2.5 feet.
Good time was had by all this morning and for safety we cancelled the afternoon tours.

Thank You Going Out To:

Thanks going out today to Captain Bill for being back at the helm of our beloved DEEPER.
PADI Inst. Mike guided our group of certified divers and PADI Inst. Tom guided our group of snorkelers.
Good time was had by all as we didn’t let Mother Nature rule our day with the dismal overcast sky and gusty winds.

We sure hope you enjoy viewing the hundreds of images from our fun tours in the link below. Photos taken on our tours are always FREE to our guests as our personal gift.
