Key Largo Dry Rocks Reef ~ Home of Christ of the Abyss Statue AM

This morning at KLDR Reef everyone enjoyed getting to visit the huge bronze statue of Jesus.
We enjoyed having Amoray Dive Resort boarding pass their group of certified divers and students with instructors this morning. Last year at this time we had started to realize we were about to need to install new engines and transmission in Deeper. It was wonderful of Amoray Dive Resort to take us on their boat tours for a month while our boat was out getting worked on and we love to be able to repay the favor.

N. North Dry Rocks Reef AM

The second site at N. N. Dry Rocks we enjoyed strolling down the grocery store aisle like rows of massive living corals. The white sand bottom between the rows of corals just sets the perfect canvas for all the colors of the reef here.

All the crew at Sail Fish Scuba try super hard each and every day to provide top level customer service to every guest. The Florida Keys has so many Scuba shops and each Operator in Key Largo does a little something different.
At Sail Fish Scuba we pride ourselves with having a big USCG rated 38 foot boat and never selling out all the seats to guests on purpose. Since we only sell to guests about half the 24 total passenger seats she is rated for, we can keep our personal attention to each guest way higher. It is also nice to not be cramped when on a dive boat and able to move about freely on deck.

Barracuda Alley at Grecian Rocks Reef Line PM

This afternoon at Barracuda Alley Reef Instructor Thomas and Instructor Alex guided our group of divers. The weather man was once again wrong today with the wind forecast and out of no where the winds picked up for a few hours. We sure wish we could control the future winds and weather forecast to be able to make it perfect and flat for our guests. All we are able to do is provide our guests with the best possible customer service and creative dive plans we can come up with.
At this site since it is protected from the reef, we enjoyed only a 1 foot chop at the surface and around 20 foot of viz. underwater.

Banana Reef PM

The second site at Banana Reef PADI Instructors Thomas and Alex guided our guests and took fun photos. This site has many Midnight Parrotfish, Great Barracudas, and tons of cleaning stations. Surface was 2.0 foot seas and underwater we had a bit of surge but it was way better than just having to cancel all the guests tours today.
