Florida Keys Scuba Diving with Sail Fish Scuba

22 Feb 2019 AM / PM

Benwood Shipwreck AM

This Morning at Benwood Shipwreck Captain Chris and PADI Instructor Mike were out at National Marine Sanctuary Florida Keys Diving. They Report having seas of 1 to 3 foot and visibility of around 40 feet.

French Reef AM

The second site at French Reef visibility was a bit lower maybe 20 to 30 feet at best. The lower visibility however did not stop the fish sightings. Divers loved getting to see the healthy thriving living coral reef and all the colorful reef fish.

National Marine Sanctuary Florida Keys Diving Report

At the Sail Fish Scuba shop this morning Inst. Alex and Inst. Thomas taught classes of PADI Discover Scuba Diving and Scuba Tune Up Diving. Once done with the knowledge training they headed down the street to the community outdoor heated swimming pool here in Key Largo. Jacobs Aquatic Center is a wonderful training pool for teaching scuba and we don’t mind paying the fee to take our guests there for training.

Molasses Reef Wellwood Area PM

This Afternoon at Wellwood Area of Molasses Reef Captain Chris and PADI Instructor Alex were out at National Marine Sanctuary Florida Keys Diving. Inst. Thomas was the in-water-guide for the snorkeling guests and they Report having seas of 1 to 3 foot and visibility of around 40 feet.

Sand Island Reef PM

The second site at Sand Island Reef visibility was a bit lower than at Molasses Reef but still a beautiful site. Divers loved getting to see the massive stands of Elkhorn Corals which are healthy and thriving living corals. Snorkeling guests enjoyed this site as well since it is quite shallow and filled with many reef fish.
