Everyone Asks What Florida Keys Winter Diving Conditions Are Like

Florida Keys Winter Diving Conditions can range from “sporty” surface seas to somedays flat calm.
This time of the year a wetsuit is required for snorkeling and scuba diving. The water temperature varies between 76 F as a high and 70 F as a low. We highly suggest layering a 2.5 mm full and 2.5 mm shorty wetsuit together on our coldest days.
Today the water temperature at the surface was 76 F and at depth of 30 feet we had 74 F.

What We Did Today

Captain Bill was at the helm of dive boat Deeper and DM Tim was first mate.
PADI Inst. Mike was dive guide to our group of 3 certified divers and PADI Inst. Tom was snorkel guide to our family of 5 snorkeling guests.
Owners Chris and Jen were super busy in the shop working on end of the year book-keeping and waiting on a nice constant flow of walk-in shoppers today.

Florida Keys islands are the sub-tropical Caribbean of the USA.
