Today at Christ of the Abyss all divers and snorkelers loved getting to see so many colorful Parrot fish and Angel fish. Fun site for our newest PADI Open Water Diver student to complete her next to last training dive and skills.
Owner Jen got to be on the boat this afternoon as snorkeling guide and she was super stoked to be able to take tons of photos. Banana Reef @ Grecian Rocks Reef PM
The second site at Banana Reef and end of the day looking closely at the images of the shark, Snorkel guide Jen stands fully corrected. Shark identification was verified as a full size Caribbean Reef shark and not a Bull shark. However as guide with a group of snorkel guests to keep super safe we left his area promptly. A large shark was chasing a nice size grouper and when he came upon us in the shallows seemed agitated we were there. So we took photos and got outta his feeding area.
Reef sites like this make a great place for PADI Open Water training dive number 4.
We say congrats to Victoria on her OW Diver PADI certification. Excellent time had by all scuba divers and snorkeler at this site this afternoon. We love having a North wind because it lays down the seas for us. Everyone in the water enjoyed getting to see the nice schools of Blue Stripe Grunts and Yellow Tail Snapper at this site.
