Thrilling Scuba Diving Key Largo Christ Statue Dive Site

Dry Rocks Reef & Christ of the Abyss AM

Today at Christ of the Abyss Everyone loves getting to see the huge statue of Christ underwater while diving this site. Many Queen Angelfish have made this reef their home and when looking closely you will see them. The huge schools of Sergeant Major fish that are always at this reef and love to check out the divers are an awesome welcome.

Grecian Rocks Proper Reef AM

Our second site at Grecian Rocks Proper Filled with many Parrotfish, Grunts, and Angelfish this morning. Brilliant second morning dive today. Dive guide Alex looked hard to find some Octopus on this site today and possibly some interesting Lobsters. They are excellent at hiding and if you want to see them you must move very slowly while scuba diving. Speaking of lobster’s did you know the following about our Florida Spiny Lobsters: Spiny Lobster have excellent navigational skills.
Spiny lobsters establish their position in relation to Earth’s magnetic field and then follow a particular route just as well as a Homing Pigeon can. Pretty cool fun fact about our Florida water bugs.
Spotted Eagle Ray came and circled our group of divers which was icing on the cake this morning.
