Scuba Training Peak Performance

PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty Diver

Certified Scuba Divers benefit at all Florida Keys Dive Sites when they have excellent trim and buoyancy skills.
But how does one learn this buoyancy skill?

SCUBA diving at it’s ideal is supposed to be a lazy man’s sport. You should be leisurely swimming along, perfectly buoyant.
But how do you get to that point?
In your Open Water Diver Course Your PADI instructor should have gone over the basics of buoyancy.
Like most divers you’re left wondering where to go from there.

PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty is a perfect next step.

What do I do next?

While “practice” is indeed something you need to start to perfect your skills, you can also take a specialty class.
PADIs Peak Performance Buoyancy class offers students the ability to work out the kinks in your diving. Knowing how much weight to add, how to adjust your weight based on the gear you’re using, and how to properly trim yourself out are all skills you will work on mastering in your class. The Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty was born out of this type of conditions. While many divers can improve their buoyancy control without an additional course, this specialty will undoubtedly help those that can not, and even those who can will learn and practice techniques that will accelerate the learning process.

How long does the course take to complete?

The class encompasses 2 dives, and includes many drills. Things like swimming through obstacle courses and hovering upside down are common techniques used by instructors to help you.

You won’t have to spend as much time trying to stay on the right path, because you will finally be able to move effortlessly through the water like the divers you have envied in the past. With more buoyancy control, you can take more time to enjoy your surroundings and the unique sights underwater.
