Water Temperature Key Largo Scuba Diving

Winter water temperature in Key Largo ranges from 68 F to 76 F and changes with how close the Gulf Stream is to shore. Scuba Diving this time of year is best done in a full 2.5 mm wetsuit and some like a 2.5mm shorty suit over top. The most important layer for scuba divers is a head covering and oddly enough most divers don’t do this. If they added a thin beanie or at least a doo rag over their head they would stay much warmer.
